We accept most major credit cards as well as Apple Pay.
Sales
We make every effort to ensure that the prices and descriptions on each of our products are accurate. The price of the goods you choose will be shown on the checkout page of our website when you place your order. You will be charged for this amount. If we notice an error in pricing before accepting your order, we are not obligated to sell the goods to you at the price shown. We will let you know if this occurs as soon as possible to give you the option of reconfirming your order or cancelling it.
In the event that a wine case that you have ordered is out of stock or unavailable for dispatch, we will endeavour to contact you to discuss possible alternatives. If we aren’t able to reach you, an appropriate substitute may be used to complete the order provided we are confident it is comparable in quality and value. In such instances, should the substitute wine case not meet your requirements, please let us know and we will be happy to either exchange it for a suitable alternative or offer you a refund.
We will not sell wine to anyone who is not aged 18 years or over. In placing an order with us, you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old. If you’re purchasing wine as a gift, the recipient must also be at least 18 years old. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will ask for ID. If the person receiving the delivery is not able to supply an appropriate ID, the courier will be unable to deliver the ordered wine case.
Deliveries
We will make every reasonable effort to deliver orders within five working days. If you are expecting a delivery and have not received it within seven working days, please notify us. We kindly ask you to check your delivery carefully upon receipt. If a product is damaged or missing or the wrong product has been delivered, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
Cancellations & Refunds
We do not offer refunds for wine cases that are not faulty. Goods can be returned, if possible in original packaging, within 7 days of that date for a full refund or replacement provided they are in the condition in which they were delivered. Carriage costs relating to such returns remain with the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Nothing in this returns policy affects your statutory rights or your rights under any contract you may have with us.
Data Protection & Website Usage
Jeff Wines Limited (trading as The Wine House) abides by data protection laws regarding retention and use of personal customer information. We will not pass your information to others for marketing purposes.
